Myrtle Beach has long been a vacation destination for our family. I have been a loyal visitor for the last fifteen years, while my wife has been vacationing there most of her life. You could say we love the beach, so when given the opportunity to make Myrtle Beach our home we jumped at the chance. There are quite a few aspects of living there that are appealing, the beach, tons of activities for the family, and the golf. Being an avid golfer and the Grand Strand being the golf capital of the world has got to be a match made in heaven. On our trip down last week, I decide that I needed to add a sister blog to my cigar blog, so my golf blog was born. I know that this is a ground breaking idea, a blog about Myrtle Beach's golf scene, but I think I can put a fun spin on it. I plan to fill the pages with local insights on the golf courses, practice facilities, tips, golf news and special events. My hopes for this endeavor are simple; if you are planning a vacation to Myrtle Beach some of the information here could ensure that you have the best rounds ever. I have been lucky that the courses I played have matched my skill level at the time I played them. Nobody wants to pay a greens fee and not have a good time. Hopefully, as I play more courses, some of my reviews will help you pick the right course for your trip. So the countdown has started and the boxes are being packed, stay tuned for more!
